Training Locations
AJO Training
Before you get into Ajo, you will see a road to the left called Mead Road. I believe it is about milepost 36. Take Mead Road and follow it as it goes past the airport and country club. Continue on Mead Road until it meets with Well Road. Take Well Road south past the equestrian center until you see a road (Cole Road) to the left. Take Cole Road and follow it towards the Rifle Range. When you get to where the pavement stops, continue on the dirt road and cross the wash. Just past the wash you will take the right fork, then follow the signs to camp.

The Alterra center is located on the SE corner of the intersection You may also take the Loop 101 (Agua Fria) to Bell Road, West on Bell Road to Grand Ave. North on Grand Ave to Meeker Blvd. East on Meeker to the corner of Camino del Sol & Meeker. The Alterra center is located on the SE corner of the intersection

Alterra East
1610 E. Guadalupe Road, Tempe, AZ 85283 (located on the North side of Guadalupe – between McClintock and Rural) Please note that you need to park along West Juniper Street which is just West of the main entrance lot.

Arrowhead Mall
Arrowhead Mall - Meet just East of the Theaters (near the Security Entrance - not the General Public Entrance) on the North east side of the mall.

CAC - American Red Cross - Piper Center
Take I-17 North to Bethany Home Road. At Bethany Home Road you want to take the frontage road, traveling North, just past the “Whataburger”. The Staff Parking lot, then the American Red Cross Building and the Visitor Parking are just North of the “Whataburger” - along the north bound frontage road.

Carefree Hwy & New River Road
Take I-17 or 99th Avenue North to Hwy. 74 (Carefree Hwy.) Turn Left. Make a right on New River Road (if coming from I-17 it is approximately 7 miles) If coming from 99th Avenue, it is an almost immediate Right. Travel approximately 1 1/2 miles on New River Road. You will pass over a cattleguard and within 1/2 mile will be a mile marker sign on the right. Just past this mile marker sign is a road on the right hand side. Turn in and park in the large cleared area.

Desert Breeze Park
Ray to McClintock. South on McClintock for approx. 1/2 mile. There is a sign that says Desert Breeze park. Turn (R) West and travel to the park. Park in Parking Lot.

EVSC - American Red Cross
East Valley Service Center @ 1550 S. Alma School Road, Suite #260 Mesa, AZ 85210. Freestanding building by Fiesta Mall, between US 60 and Holmes (which is South of Southern) 480-461-1100

New River Road
Take I-17 North (towards Flagstaff) to the Carefree Highway exit. Travel West on the Carefree Highway, approximately 6 miles West the Hwy makes a curve towards the North and intersects with Lake Pleasant Road (should be a sign indicating Sun City to the South). The first Right past this intersection is “Old New River Road.” (Old New River Road is paved). Meet at this intersection. If you live on the West side it may be easier to take 99th Ave. North to the Carefree Hwy. At the “Stop sign” make a left Old New River Rd. (it will be the first Right that you can make). Travel down New River Road approximately 1 mile. You will cross over a cattleguard, turn right at the first road into the desert just past the first "mile post" sign that you come to and park in the large open parking area.

North Mountain Park / T-Bird & 7th Street
From the East Valley take I-17 North (towards Flagstaff) to Thunderbird. Travel East on Thunderbird to 7th Street. Travel South on 7th Street to the 1st Park entrance. If you are coming from the East Valley, you need to take “51” the Squaw Peak Parkway, to Cactus. Travel West on Cactus (it changes to Thunderbird when you cross Cave Creek Road). Continue on until 7th Street. Turn South on 7th Street to the 1st Park entrance. Park in the first parking area. This is one of the entrances to North Mountain Park. If you are late, the Park rangers will shut the gates and you have to park outside of them and walk in.
