McDowell Road to Galvan Parkway, South on Galvan Parkway towards the golf Course to Papago Park Drive (the first light). Turn West onto Papago Park Drive and travel to the end of the road. We will be meeting at the Stone Ramada that sits to the west of the road with a short stone wall around it.

Loop 101 on the West Side to Thunderbird. East on Thunderbird to 83rd Avenue. Go South on 83rd Avenue to Cholla. (Cholla is the first light south of Cactus). Travel West on Cholla to either the very first lot on the SW corner of Cholla and 83rd Ave. or the far back parking lot - by the football field. The gate will be unlocked.

I-10 to 51 (Squaw Peak Parkway to Northern. Go East on Northern into the Phoenix Mountain Preserve, Dreamy Draw Park. From the west side take Thunderbird to 51. South on 51 to Northern. Travel East on Northern into the Park.

Walker Road two days.
- Walker Road - Take I-17 North towards Flagstaff to the Cordes Junction exit (69A) Take 69A through Mayer, Dewey, and Prescott Valley. Between Prescott Valley and Prescott there is an intersection with a Costco and PetSmart on the left side of the road. This is the intersection of Walker Road. Go Left on Walker Road. About 8-10 miles up Walker Road is the Walker Fire Station on the right side. We will meet there. Either park in the lot by the fire station or across the road in the gravel lot by the dumpsters.

If you are planning on going up on Friday, Please let me know what time so that I may have someone meet you there. Otherwise, please plan on being at the Fire station at whatever designate time on Saturday. I can have someone meet you to bring you the last few miles to the training site.

From the Firestation to the actual Camp/Training Site- you can continue up Walker Road. The pavement ends about 1 1/2 miles as you cross a bridge. Cross the bridge and take the dirt road to the left. At all intersections - stay on the main road as this is Walker Road. [there are two spots that it might be difficult to tell - just pay attention to the road that appears to be the most well traveled]. You will go up a very steep hill with a 90 degree turn to the left and then a second tight turn to the right - at the very top of the third turn is the entrance to the camp site. Please pull in and off of the main turnaround to camp.

Take I-10 westbound to Exit #112 (Hwy. 85) Exit signs say Yuma / San Diego and Gila Bend / Mexico. Go South over the freeway to the first Stop Sign. There will be a Texaco Station on the left. Travel through the stop sign, continuing South. The turn into the Robbins Butte Wilderness Area will be 3.3 miles from this stop sign, just after you cross the bridge over the Gila River. You will be turning to the West onto a dirt road. There will be a "Y" intersection - with a sign that has Power Butte (pointing to the left) and Robbins Butte (pointing to the right). Please stay to the left. The CP is actually on the South side of Robbins Butte, but this is how we access the location. It will be approximately 3 miles to the C.P. Please meet in front of the Butte. GPS coordinates are as follows: N 33 18.950 W112 40.300 (DD MM.MM NAD27)

Take Central Ave. south, it will dead end into the park. As you enter the park, you will pass a guard shack. Proceed straight ahead. Stay on the road, marked to Summit. This road becomes San Juan Rd. The road will split -STAY RIGHT - on San Juan Rd. Take this blacktop road all the way until it ends.

I-17 N. to 74 West (Carefree Hwy to Rt. 60 West to Wickenburg. At the second light in Wickenburg, make a left. Travel 4-5 miles to the Vulture Peak Trailhead Parking lot. It will be on your left.

Take I-10 West to the West Loop 101. Travel North on the West Loop 101 to Olive. Go West on Olive to the entrance of the Park. Wait at the Entrance of the Park.
